AL KHALEEJ SUGAR REFINERY

Al Khaleej Sugar – literally meaning Sugar of the Persian Gulf – rightly derives its name from the fact that it is the first sugar refinery in the Persian Gulf region.

Al Kaleej Sugar was founded in 1992 and is based in Jebel Ali, Dubai, and has a production capacity of 2,400 tons. Since the start of production in July 1995, it has made extraordinary progress, in the last few years achieving the status of the largest stand-alone sugar refinery in the world, with a production capacity of over 7,000 tons per day.
